I'm searching for information on the George Stone family in St. Catharines 1855-1880. His wife was Mary and they had the following children: Esther, Annie, Mary Jane, Isabella (my gg-grandmother), Clarabel, George and Catharine.
Also searching for Thomas Purcell family-wife Mary, children Thomas (my gg-grandfather), Catherine, Mary, Elisabeth, John and Josephine.

Hello,
I was in the Goodwill Store on Welland Avenue in St. Catharines on May 28, 2015. I found a very old photograph of a family named Stone that had been professionally done. This may be of interest to you. I inquired about the photo as it was more than 100 years old but the staff did not know the source of it and didn't know what to do with it. At any rate, I bought it and am attempting to reconnect the family with this old photo from 1897. The date of the photo is written on the back along with the individuals pictured. There is a man named George Stone in the photo who was 29 years old at the time, and his wife's name was Myrtle (I think, judging by the writing) who was 24 years old. They had two children in the photo with them, Robert 3 years old and Eugean 22 months. Are these relations of yours? I plan to post this photo online on Facebook (Vintage St. Catharines and some of the other sites like Vintage Niagara).
