Thank you so much for the info. In the process of searching in the Upper Canada Land Petitions, I also searched the Lower Canada Land Petitions at the same site and came up with Jacob, Christopher, John Pickel - which may be "my" Pickels.
Do you know where I could actually see the location of lands John Sr and John Jr were granted in the Upper Canada area?
