I wonder if maybe my Catherine Everitt's mother was possibly misidentified as "Mary" instead of "Hannah", as her father is a William Everitt that would roughly match the birth year of William Alexander Everitt's son William.

It seems unlikely though, as I beleive I've seen Catherine's mother identified as Mary in more than one source.

Too bad I haven't been able to find a connection...it would be great to learn I was a descendant of William Alexander Everitt.

The commonality is amazing though...Everitt's who came to Ontario around the same time, the given name of William, and the fact that both parents were from PA. I'd bet the farm there is a connection somewhere, and I'm just not finding it.
