I guess I never figured out how to read it. I was able to get a fair idea where he lived because I was able to find his neighbors who were kin. They were supposedly the first 3 homesteads in that area. I was not able to find the lot or consession #. One neighbor had a cemetary on his lot and sometimes it was named for the family other times it was called 9 line or something like that. I figured out the nine is the IX at the bottom of the page. I am also interested in what the penciled in numbers mean usually they are 100 or 200. Are they acres?
