Am interested in your records on Mary Rosetta Vaudre, married to Asa Bachelor, as I have recently discovered that she is likely a sister of my gggrandmother, Sarah Voodre, who married Louis Allor, either Canada or US, lived in NY and eventually in Macomb Co., MI where she was buried ca 1895.
Mary Rosetta daughter, Phebe Brabb, refers to her cousins, Louis & Martin Allor in her will, as well as the daughter and son-in-law of John Allor.
I also have recent info that there is likely NAtive American heritage in this family, and wonder what you know or may have heard in this regard.
Am interested in your FGR for Asa, and especially curious about the book by Diana Huntley, "Memories of life among the Indians among the wilds of Canada", and wndering if that book gives any insight into the Native American heritage in this family. Any information is welcome. Thank you.
