I found the death record for James Archibald Johnston (yay). The reg# is 1953-09-003491 in British Columbia. There's a typo in it, it says he was born July 28, 1876 but that is supposed to be 1870. He died March 20, 1953 and his parents were Thomas Johnston and Eliza Burterum (how many ways can you spell Bertram?) His place of birth is , Ontario.
