Is anything known about John Duldreggan Grant's wife Caroline, mother of Alexander? I have her born 1741 and death 1769, however that overlaps his second marriage, which is unusual for the time, I think. But, as you say, he was an "interesting" character..

Also, John seems to be Protestant, Presbyterian I presume, but my line is Catholic, so just wondering where that change may have taken place.
