In Petitions & Land Grants there is Grant, John Petition #64 Charlottenburgh-4th, Lot-25 & 26 May 1802. Charlottenburgh, settled on Lot 25 & 26 in 4th Concession about 16 years ago. Mr. James MacDonell (later) ran a line which deprived your petitioner of 3 acres of his whole depth amounting to 100 acres. That William Chewitt ran a line that came within a few yards of MacNiff's post.Tenants on Indian Lands insist on James MacDonell's line being the true one.

Also there is another John Grant petition 20 Feb 1795 want 6 lots of 200 each so probably a UEL.
