Hi Anne . That particular claim #320 submitted by John McDonell eldest son of Alexander McDonell [whom I take to be Aberchalder] . Half way through the claim it states (To Be Paid To John McDonell Late 84th Regt.) . I do not think the 84th was Butler's Rangers .
