Thanks Anne . I have Gavin Watt's book KRR NY published 1984 , and I counted 55 McDonell listed on the Muster Roll . I think the numbers were as follows ,
Privates 36
Corporals 9
Sergeants 2
Lieut. 1
Captain 7
I just thought it strange that so many Captains would have been sitting around in Johnson's Bush waiting to be called .
