Can you tell me where in Pringle's book this information is found? I have 2 other McDonell's, Allan and John, that I would like to search for. The book is available free online, but I am on dial-up, so having the page references would make searching less painful. Also, I will be visiting the Glengarry Archives in Williamstown in the next few weeks and they have a copy there.

Any thoughts as to the best way to find out where Alexander's children, Duncan and Margaret, were granted land after their petitions in 1807? Would this information be in Pringle's book, or is 1807 too late?
