For all the assistance re John McLennan, Thank you. Have seen the Rent Rolls and possibly the same McLennan on the Pearl in 1773. Discharged from Crawford Co. KRRNY June 24 1784. He was named on McNiffs map of 1786 and finally granted same property in Glengarry 1797, which stayed in family until 1947.
Still trying to find where he left from and landed/settled in USA prior to mention in Rent Roll, Sept 1780.
