I guess I didn't realize that I hadn't signed my name. I apologize. I am Barbara Clark Gressel. My mother was Jeanette Grant(1920-1989), her father was James Wright Grant(1889-1972), his father was James Wright Grant (1842-1911), his father was Peter Grant(1798-1850). It is this Peter that I spoke about, whose mother is Flora.

It is quite possible that the John in the Upper Canada Village is the same as the John married to Flora. I had seen that website. It had been a while and I had forgotten about the John Grant information. If it wasn't his operation, I imagine it might have been Peter the shoemaker and tanner married to Jenet Ross that ran the business. This Peter was Flora's brother. I can see a connection. I will see if they can give me more information.
