I'll bet lots of erasers will be busy on this one . The main thing to take away is that John Duldreggan Grant was well connected with the people and events that took place during the Rev War , and chose to sit it out in Scotland , Wise man . Even though they walked to Glengarry from the States they were not given UEL status , but acquiring those 400 acres on Lots 25 & 26 was a coup .
By the way . Do you know where your ancestor Mary McIntyre was from . Maybe she was UEL .
