My Archibald Grant (b.1754)'s children were: John (m.Janet McDonell), Janet,Alexander (m.Isabell McGillis),Donald (m.?), Peter (m. Jane Murchison..my line), Angus, James, and Archibald (m Isabell McGillis). I'd have thought Arch's father would have been 'John', but maybe not. Peter settled on 18/2 Chlbg, and there are other Grants around him. A lot of intermarrying!
