There is recording in St. Raphael’s the following:

Archibald Grant born 19th April 1805 son of Archibald Grant and Mary MacDonell. Sponsors Kenneth MacDonald and Isabel Grant.

Archibald Grant died 22 November 1806 aged 45 years.

Mary MacDonell ??-???-1806 wife of Archibald Grant converted to the Catholic faith.

Alexander Grant married to Isablel MacGillis 13 Jan 1816 he being the son of Archibald Grant and Mary MacDonell.

Archibald Grant married to Isabella MacGillis 14 Feb 1843 he being the son of the late Archibald Grant and of the deceased Mary MacDonell of this parish.

These are two different MacGillis families and if you want to details let me know.

John Grant married to Janet MacDonell 12 Feb 1811 he being the son of Archibald Grant and (blank) MacDonell.

In Petitions and Land Grants there are seven different petitions from an Archibald Grant in 1797, 1825, 1832 and1834 all in Charlottenburgh. One Archibald is the son of Archibald late of Charlottenburgh a deceased U.E.L. 4 Sept 1834 and the other Archibald the son of Peter Grant of East ½ Lot 12 south Bank of River Raison Charlottenburgh, a U.E. Loyalist signed by his mark A. Grant 24 July 1825.

I find no mention of a Catherine being married to Archibald Grant.

There is another Archibald Grant U.E.L. Who married Ann (Nancy) MacDonald in St. Raphael’s 31 July 1832 and this Archibald is the son of Donald Grant U.E.L. Jr and Isabella MacDonald. This Archibald was born on Lot 12, 2nd Charlottenburgh. There are 10 children recorded.

In St. Finnan’s there is a Mary Grant born 1st Dec 1850 to Archy Grant and Mary MacDonell sponsors Jas MacDonell and Nancy MacDougald.
