Hi Sherry . Rhodes Grant was a good story teller , and although I have two Grant lines , we are not related through the Grant but maybe through the McCallum line . In Part Five of your above archived work , in the second last paragraph Rhodes Grant makes mention of Aeneas Grant of Duldreggan who is in my tree . This Aeneas Grant of Duldreggan aka Angus Grant of Duldreggan aka Angus Duldreggan Grant b. 1701 d. 1779 was married to Hannah Grant and they were parents of my John Duldreggan Grant who settled on Lots 25 & 26 Street Road Charlottenburg Glengarry where he had arrived in 1786 with 8 of his 9 children . This John Duldreggan Grant then married a Mary McIntyre in Montreal and had 8 more kids with her . The last of these 8 children was Alpin Grant b. 1802 the year John Duldreggan Grant died . This John Duldreggan Grant of Lots 25 & 26 is often confused with Big John the Robber Grant who was father of Angus Grant the Laird of Martintown . These two John are totally different men .
