I'd be happy to share what information I have. Coverage of the "Wolfe Island Slander Case" began with the 2 Nov 1874 issue of the British Whig (Kingston) and continued until 5 Nov 1874. The 3 Sep 1874 issue of the Watertown Re-Union had earlier touched on the circumstances leading up to this particular court action centred around Emma Augusta Dean. I
