Catherine E. HARTEN is my daughters GGG Aunt from her father's side. I had a bit of trouble until I found some them listed as Harten instead of Hartin as this branch is now known. I have found two other people who have family trees at Rootsweb and myself who's most up to date tree is at Ancestry.com Look for Catherine E. HARTEN 20 Dec 1847- d 27 Jan 1934 and her husband, John SMITH 26 May 1838-1926. Her line is Christina Faith HARTIN>Andrew Carl HARTIN>Richard Wallace HARTIN>Everett Everton Hicks HARTIN>Asa HARTEN (said to have died 1920 Moscow, Addington, Ontario, Canada)>William HARTEN. William is said to have married Elisa Eliza DOBKINS 1844 Camden, , Frontenac, Ontario. I found a death date that might be him but haven't proved it yet:
