My husband's gggrandparents were George Downey and Mary Jane Parsons. he was b abt 1832 in ON or Cty Down Ireland & she was b abt 1833 in England. One of their sons Alonzo m Catherine Walker in 1887. They were in the Bowmanville, Whitby, Pickering and Toronto area. There were Walker and Parsons families in Tara, ON where Bill's ancestors lived. They were Mary Anne (Downey) and Benjamin Locke.
