My husband Descends from William Langille "Devil Bill" Williams, born 1886 in Lockeport and Died 1966 in Cow Bay. We have looked and looked to try to find the reason he was called "Devil Bill" any insight would be appreciated.

I don't remember any of the kids. What kind of info are you looking for is it just about granddad? Did you want his children's names.Granddad was a widower when his wife was 38 she died of tb. Granddad being a fisherman couldn't look after the kids so they were fostered out. Audrey

Re: William Langille "Devil Bill" Williams
That was as much as I knew, that his wife died and he was a fisherman. I found that out through the Shelburne historical society, but not much more except Paul's branch. I have a tree on Ancestry, I would love names, etc and stories and pictures so that one day I can pass this all on to my children.

Langille had Malaria from Cicely,to my knowledge.
The UK sounds like a fun place to go, Paul said he has roots there, what do you know about that.
