Kim: Sometimes I've had good luck with the 1871 and 1881 census's and the 1865 Ambrose Church Map and the 1879 Illustrated Historical Atlas of Pictou County in finding where the families lived. In the 1871 census Donald Cameron lived next door to Thomas Fraser and on the 1865 Church map I see D. Cameron just north of T. Fraser along the west side of the East River across from New Glasgow. On the 1879 map (Pg 45 Section 12) there is "Heirs of Dan Cameron" "262" acres and just south is Thomas Fraser. Don't see a Donald Fraser in the vicinity on the 1879 map and your Donald has passed away in 1873. Believe I've seen where Donald and Daniel seem to get interchanged quite easily. Anyway, sure looks like it could be your Cameron's. By 1881 census Elizabeth and family had moved into New Glasgow. The Illustrated Historical Atlas of Pictou County is on line and if you look for section 12 you should see the area I'm talking about. My Dunbars are a number of farms to the North at the Loading Ground at the end of the railroad. Bill
