My ancestor was at the Citadel until May 1861 when his unit was moved to Wellington Barracks. I've tried using Ancestry.ca to search for his name in the 1861 census but come up empty. Can someone point me to the Ward within Halifax where the Citadel and Wellington Barracks census could be found.
