Hello Marlene

Just thought I would touch base with you and see if you could clarify something for me. I found some info stating that Herbert Gaulton was the brother of Mary and Maria Gaulton?

Also on this tree they listed Hubert's parents as John Gaulton and Rhoda Knott. Have you heard of them?

Thanks

Jean

Hi,
Rhoda was my aunt, and she was married to my uncle Norman Gaulton, and they had one son Elmore, they had relocated to Califonia, I think we are talking about the same people, that Gaulton family for the most part had moved to Lindinhurst, Long Island, my father Roland had worked for Norman back in 1957.Rhoda was from wesleyville, and I'm pretty sure she was a Best.

Hello Alf,

Thank you so much for your reply.

Sorry, but we are not talking about the same Rhoda Knott.

My great grandmother,Rhoda Knott, died in Nova Scotia of TB about 1912. I think she was from Burego, Newfoundland. She married John Reuben Edward Gaulton. They had three children, one of who is my grandmother. That is as much as I can find out on her.

I did find another Rhoda Knott who immigrated to the U.S. who is probably your aunt. I think I found her boat passage information. I was pretty sure she immigrated from Canada to the U.S.? But, that is all.

Is Wesleyville in Newfoundland, or the U.S.?

I wish we were researching the same person.

If you think there might still be a connection, please let me know.

Jean

Hi Jean,

I am researching Elsie Mary Gaulton Born 1897 died 1973 and married Patrick Joseph (Legacy) Ronayne. Would Elsie be part of the family of Gaultons that you are looking into?

Hi, I am working on the same Gaulton's I think. Would Lillian have been Lillian Belle born 1892 and died 1982 in Dartmouth, N.S. ? If so would you know who Thomas Gaulton's parents were (Lillian's father)? I think he was the lighthouse keeper in Newfoundland. I am looking into Elsie Gaulton, a daughter of Thomas and Sarah.

Thanks
