WHARTON
My husbands grandfather was a Middlemore boy, sent over in 1905 on the SS. SIBERIAN. He was age 15. Mothers name was Polly and Fathers name was Henry Wharton (this is on James marriage cert.) I would love to be able to speak to either a family member of one of the children who came over in 1905 on the Siberian, they may know something of my husbands grandfather. As near as I can find out the children were sent over with a bible and a trunk.
His "adopted parents" were a Mr and Mrs Samuel Hoyt of Bright New Brunswick.

The name may have been spelt differently, WHORTON, WORTON, WARTON.
If anyone can help me with information regarding JAMES JOHN WHARTON (OR HOWEVER IT IS SPELT) I would greatly appreciate it.
