Andrew J Greer was born in Ireland and came to New Brunswick before 1822, when he was first assessed for taxes in Elmsville, Saint Patrick parish, Charlotte County. He married some time to a woman of New Brunswick birth; I don't know any more about her.

Andrew had two daughters Sarah Ann and Elizabeth. Elizabeth never married and died in 1903. Sarah Ann married Robert Carroll in 1844 and settled in Elmsville. They had five daughters. Sarah Ann died some time after 1911 and probably before 1920.
