I'm a complete novice when it comes to researching in Canada. Loads of expertise in the US but NONE in Canada so I need help. We have traced William Holt Ledford born 1920 to William Holt Ledford and Ann Gannoway. Holt was from Kentucky, married in Tennessee, divorced, went to Kansas City, Missouri, married Ann Gannoway. They emigrated to Vancouver area of BC in 1913. Holt (Jr.) was in the Canadian Air Force, died over Belgium in 1943. He was awarded a medal which was given next to kin. Both his mother and father were dead by 1936. We have father's death certificate. We would like to know the next of kin. Was it a sibling or wife? He was only 23. We have a lot of info on his Ledford family and are willing to share with family members.
