Since the death Occurred in British Columbia. The Registration is in British Columbia and is now considered Public Record.The film free to search - transcribe - Photo copies are .50 cents or less - depending on copy machine.
I may be back at the library - again- in the next few days -
and can either transcribe or copy the information for you.

Probate: Perhaps they could just copy the pages that would be of interest to you.
Probate records include: Copy of the Will.name address etc of the Executor - Content, value and distribution of the estate - [all that is fine- but doesn't really help find possible family members.]
