HANSEN -- Mary, of 1524 4th Ave. North, passed away on May 20, at the age of 69 years, beloved mother of Melvin Hansen, Victoria, B.C., Allen Hansen of Cranbrook, B.C., Mrs. Joyce Vernon of Edmonton. She is also survived by three brothers, John Duda, Alex Duda of Lethbridge,and Michael Duda of Nelson, B.C.; by two sisters, Mrs. Anne Kozalenko and Mrs. Helen Tillack, both of Lethbridge, and by eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Christopher [sic] Hansen in 1931, by one son, Lloyd in 1943 in Germany, and by one brother, Fred Duda in 1956. Mrs. Hansen was a member of the Pemmican Club and a long-time resident of Lethbridge. She was a member of St. Basil's Church and the CWL. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Basil's Church on Wednesday, May 24 at 10 a.m., Rev. Father G. Marien celebrant. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Prayers will be said in St. Basil's Church on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Christensen-Fleming Funeral Home, Ltd., Directors of Funeral Service.
