Babcia was born April 8, 1891. She was 17 when she was married so this marriage would have taken place in November, 1908. She was married at St. Michael's Church, not sure which town in or around Ternopol, but near an area called Moxamoofka. The village may have been Chaharra.
Jacob Winnicki came to Canada in March, 1910. Apolonia and Mary, her oldest child born about Nov, 1909, left in June, 1910 and arrived in Manitoba, Canada on July 14, 1910. Babcia had said she took a train at Moxamoofka and travelled through Lvov all the way to France to catch a ship to Canada. She was 11 days on the ship. Babcia's mom and dad (who stayed in the old country along with their oldest daughter, the one who married a man named Sowa) were
50 and 51 when she left, and died at ages 77 (mom) and 62 (dad).
