I am looking for information on my grandfather and grandmother's families who lived in Luchynsti (formerly Lucience) Ukraine. My grandfather Karpot was born in 1896 to Wasyl Moshtuk and Magdalene ? (we could not read her name in the m,etrical book) we need informationon her and Wasyl /Vasyl' family also. My grandmother' father was Ivan Macelak but we have no record of her mother's name. Her step-mother was Marya Chudak. Can anyone help us with this? My grandmother evidently did not live in the village because she always claimed they had TWO cows and a second story on their house (a balcony.) I've been there and seen the old houses that are left. One story is the norm. If anyone can help I'd be grateful.
