First, for Greek translations, you could try a local college or university. Sometimes the language departments can either do the translation for you or make a referral to have someone do it for you; same thing with a local Greek Orthodox church. Many have Greek School courses, and teachers of the Greek language. You could donate something to the church in exchange.

There are 2 Karampilis names in the Greek white pages; about 12 Karampilas names. Use the surname navigator at cyndislist.com on the Greece pages to find the navigator.
I didn't check for Karambelas, figured you could do that yourself.

There are about a dozen Karampilas or Karampilis names in the ellisisland.org records. You could check for these and for Karambelas yourself at the site.

Lastly, Evia (aka Evoia) is also known as Eboia and Ewoia and is an island.

Go to:

http://www.evia-greece.co.uk/evia.htm and navigate the links there to learn about it, or try the excellent site

http://www.united-hellas.com/tourism/evia/

http://www.travelinfo.gr/evia/

Good luck!
