My great-great-grandmother was a Hudy. Julianna Hudy was married to George (Gyorgy) Saksza. I had always been led to believe that they were from the Bratislava area of Slovakia; however, I've recently found vital records from the early 1880s for them in the Brezovica area of Slovakia. On these records, they also have the name spelled as "CHUDY."

Julianna Hudy and George Szaksza emigrated to Bridgeport Connecticut USA around 1885.
