My great-grandparents, Stephen Ledvak (b. abt 1866) & Julia Saksa (b. abt 1870) were married on May 27, 1888 in Bridgeport CT. Both were born in Slovakia (Austro-Hungary).

I have also found a marriage record for an Andrew Ledvak (b. abt 1864)& Catherina Weresfri (b. abt 1866), both of Bridgeport CT. They were married on April 15, 1888. They were also born in Slovakia (Austro-Hungary).

Both couples were married by Father T. Jarieus. I don't know which church the priest was affiliated with.

(Stephen & Julia eventually ended up in Scranton PA.)

Is Andrew Ledvak any relation to my great-grandfather Stephen? If anyone has any info on these people, please let me know. Thank you.
