Sorry for the delay, seem to have an issue getting the email alerts from Ancestry :( Anyway, I reviewed the documents that I have for Helen Gronska, and here's the birthplaces reported on various official documents:

1913 departure manifest: residence Pozawz, Russland
1913 Ship manifest (SS Frankfurt, 30 Nov): Nationality Austrian, Birthplace Bzrana, Galicia (or Brzana? It's hard to read)
1930 census: birthplace Austria
1940 census: birthplace Austria, native language German
1944 Naturalization petition: birthplace Stada, Shunce, Poland
1949 death certificate: birthplace Poland

I'm also waiting for a copy of the Rosenbaum Bank record for the purchase of her ticket to come to the US....it may or may not list her address.

Should any of the above info lead me in one particular direction or another?!

I'll see if I can figure out how to attach files showing the actual entries on the paperwork next.
