Thanks for the others' info as they may be kinsmen but the Anthony Mitch I'm after... his other records (census and WWI reg and tombstone with born1880) indicate he was born about 1880 + or - a year and now I found his arrival record which has him as age 18 in 1899. Providing the informant on his 1928 death certificate, one of his sons, knew the correct names of his father's parents, they are listed as Joseph Mitch and Mary Meyers. [Meyers may be an Anglicization of Majer] I don't know for certain but believe Anthony Mitch has a cousin also in Bethlehem named Joseph Mitch and on Joseph's death cert his parents are listed as Anthony Mics and Emilia Meyer. This Joseph has Veszprem meyge as his birthplace. In the arrival record for 'Antal Mics' who is the Anthony Mitch in question, his last residence is listed as Papateszer which is in Veszprem megye. So I'm still searching for evidence of him in Hungarian records or of Joseph Mitch alleged to have been born 2 May 1888 or for any signs of either sets of parents: Anton/Antal Mics (etc.) & Maria Majer and Josef Mics & Emilia (variants) Majer...or something similar.
