I am researching my husband's family. The records I have found list g-grandparents STANISLAUS KOBUS (b) 9/23/1820
and wife MARIANA (?) KOBUS (b) 9/18/1818, daughter ELIZABETH
"LIZZIE" (b)10/21/1860. Also, g-grandmother KATARIENNA (?)
POTTKOTTER (b)1822,husband unkown, and son FRANK POTTKOTTER (b) 1/15/1857, all born in BYSLOW, PRUSSIA. I have checked many areas and am told that there is no such place. Undoubtedly the spelling is incorrect or after the war this area was renamed. Will appreciate any help you can give me, it seems that my research is completely stopped.
