Kopper Saturday, November 2,1918.THE TIMES, BATAVIA, NEW YORK. she died of the spanish flu. lucky the whole family didnt die. 3 other batavians died of flu same 24 hr period.

died at his honre Sunday night, half
an hour after he received a fractured
skull in a fall down the cellar-stairs
when he was going down to fix the
furnace fire. •
Mr. Kopper.was born in Czechoslovakia
63 years ago and came to
Batavia when he was thirty years
old. He had been employed by the
Massey-Harris Company as a blacksmith.
He is survived by his wife,
Mary, and ten children.dec 1934
