Thank you!
Yes, this is my family. Theophilia (as it was spelled in the US) was my g-g-g granmother. This is the first that I have been able to connect Robert with Theo, Ladislaus, Edmund and Ludmilla, all of whom I have found info on. Most of the family went to Missouri via Kentucky and lived and died in the St. Louis area until around 1900 when Johann and Theo's grandsons came to Washington State.
Thank you for the clarification on the spellings of Mikolajow and Zydaczow. Since I am just beginning my quests into Europe I'm afraid I will make many such errors. Thank goodness there are those such as yourself who can correct me.
I do believe that Johann (also listed as Eustace in family papers from the Western Historical Manuscript Collection in Rollo, MO - again variable spellings. Those early papers are all in Polish so I am really wading in deep water.
I would be interested in any information you might have on my family. I cannot thank you enough.
I will check into the LDS microfilm for the Ctholic records. I live a ways from any metro area but do get into town every once in while.
