Thank you very much for your rapid reply for which I was somewhat surprised to receive. The episodes of family members you recounted were colorful if not very dignified. I was interested in the fact that some of the family was Catholic and some were connected with the German Reformed denomination. My understanding has been that St. Wendel was a Catholic community.
