I am looking for any info on the family of Rudolf/Rudolph Scherschel/Sharshel. B. 15 Sep 1803 Illingen, Saarland. His father was Jacob, and he had a brother by the same name (b 1808). He married Barbara (or Susanna) Sahner in Germany before 1838. Any info on his mother, other family or the original spelling of the name Scherschel is appreciated!

I also have an Anna Maria Scherschel b 10 May 1815, daughter of Wilhelm in Gennweiller, Saarland who is a likely relation. Thanks for any help!
