Hello mary, I see I made an error on my last posting. Heinrich WESSELS and Geseke MEYER, my Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandparents. They were my Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr-Gr-Grandparents.
I have traces my WESTENDORFs to Essen Oldenburg some 35 mi. NW of Ostercappeln-just N. of Quackenbruch. So all in the same area. Thanks for the info. on MEYER. I will have to search that area further as well. Jo
