I have a G.G.G.grandfather by the name John Piehl who was from either Iowa or South Dakota. One of his daughters was Emma Piehl who married August Fenske and their children were Otto, August, Rosa, Leonard, Walter, Arnol, Virgil, Amilia and Lillian Fenske. Lillian got married to Albert Frykman and they had 4 children who were Florence, Philo, Lourraine and Pricilla. Florence is my grandmother, she married DeWayne Liebsch. Could this be one of the Piehl families you would be looking for? I am looking for more info.
