Anna Gertrude was my 8th g.grandmother. No family history was passed down in the family. What I have is from internet research. Roy Leggitt posted a WorldConnect family tree on Ancestry.com with some interesting data on our line. His email is royc@cts.com. He has a home page "Roy Leggitt's Real Home Page" on the internet. He says Johann Jost Petri (1663-1700) died in 1700 in Breitshid. His widow, Anna Gertraud, petitioned to leave Germany in 1709. He doesn't have a death date for Anna. You might check out his homepage or email him. It looks like he did some thorough research.
