Okay, I will dig in to the research. I too thought this was early for the joint church. Cherry is my favorite flavor any way I get it!

No, the Morgans are a branch that married into my family and I am only searching them to get info on the marriage family, the Messenlehners. Nope. Not asking for help in Welsh Gaelic, just Hungarian and the occasional German.

Thanks for the great info. It will be my summer reading, I guess!

I have another German document, this time using the KALCH surnames that I am querying next. I am idly researching KALCH as a surprise for the person who helped me a great deal at the local Pennsylvania church in Coplay, PA. Would you please give it a look-see and help me make sense of another record that takes me nowhere, but may lead a German-speaker down my path to my family tree?

See you on the boards.
