Thank you so much for responding. All of the pictures posted to CL Keller are from me. He was born in Germany and not NC. I am not sure who the Christopher Keller is showing up in Union County but I don't think it could be him. He had to have married Sara Minerva Lamb around 1851 and they had the children: Mary Suzanne Keller, William P Keller, Riley G Keller, Louisa Jane "Lou" Keller (my line), and Elizabeth Minerva "Lizzie" Keller all between 1852-1862. I thought that Sara Minerva his wife had died also. It wasn't till I went into the old cemetery in Hardin County, IL that I found her...she had been remarried. I am guessing that the date of his death was about 1862. I haven't found any proof of it. It is like he disappeared into thin air. The court house said they have no records as there was a fire there in the late 1800's (seems like every court house has had a fire ;-)).
