I am searching for information and records on my great great grandparents as I have hit a dead end. Their names were Albert and Anna Oldenburg. Attached are their naturalization petitions with more information and their ship manifest. Albert was born in 1873 in Dietersdorf, Germany to Friedrich Oldenburg and Charlotte Raatz, and Anna was born in Falkenburg, Germany on her death certificate it lists her father as Frederick Russ, and mother simply listed as unknown. They married in Berlin in 1904. They had 7 children all born in Berlin. Walter (1905), Willy (1910), Max (1911), Hans ( 1914), Georg (1908), Kaethe (went by Katherine in the states) (1912), and Charlotte(a) (1916). The last listed foreign residence is Berlin. They came over in 1923 on the Canopic. Listed on the ship manifest is a brother of Anna's living in Berlin, a Josef Koenig.

I am hoping someone might know more about this family, or be able to direct me on where to go to get birth, and marriage certificates in Germany. I have hit a dead end with Anna. I am hoping to locate her true Maiden name since she has a father listed Russ and brother listed Koenig and no mother info. And all of my searching for her family comes up empty. I am hoping to find a record or information that will lead me in the right direction to be able to continue my search on her family. I have been at this dead end for a long time now.
