I am seeking information on Georg Danner. He was born 17 December 1832 in Bavaria. He immigrated to the U.S. (New Orleans) 25 November 1856 on the Southern Eagle. He married Appolonia (Pauline) Herbert. Georg died 17 November 1906 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

I am trying to determine the town in Bavaria where Georg was born so I can trace this line back further. I have a death certificate for Georg but the town of his birth is illegible. Any census he is in lists his birthplace only as Germany. The manifest for the Southern Eagle only says that he was born in Bavaria. If anyone has information on Georg or has suggestions on how to determine where he was born, I would love to hear from you.
