George REINHARDT (b. ca. 1811) & Elizabeth SCHUESSLER (b. ca. 1814), met & married somewhere in NY state in the 1840's. One or both were born somewhere in Bavaria / Bayern. They had 4 sons: Joseph, J. Charles, Jacob and Peter, born NY in the 1840's and 1850's. We have not found any of them in passenger lists or the 1850 NY census. We have tried RINEHART, RHEINHART & many other spellings.
By 1857, they had moved to south central WI, joining other SCHUESSLERS.
Can anyone suggest any centralized Catholic marriage records, or baptism records for their sons in NY state? Or should I try Bavarian genealogy boards for George and Elizabeth's baptismal records?
