Hello,

I'm searching for any information relating to KARL LUDWIG AMBOS and ELISE MULLER. These are the names that I believe they went by while living in the area of Baden around 1840.

USA Georgia Census records list them as Louis and Elizabeth AMBOS, residing in Thunderbolt, Georgia from 1850 until their death. Letters and correspondence indicate that they immigrated around 1840.

They had six children: Christian, Elizabeth, Henry, Lena, Louis and Louisa. All are listed as being born in Baden. Christian's whereabouts are unknown, but the rest of the children are all buried in Savannah, Georgia.

Any connections or information would be appreciated, and I'm happy to share the information that I have collected.
